Our Community Impact

Our partnerships with organizations have allowed us to distribute over 600,000 organic menstrual products to individuals from low income households. Why is this important?

  • 28% of migrant domestic workers find the cost of menstrual products a financial challenge [Helpers Choice x LUÜNA Survey 2024].
  • Refugees survive on around HK$40 per day, sometimes supporting entire families, meaning safely managing menstruation is almost impossible.

Impact Projects

Why LUÜNA Products

An approach to product design and production that puts the health of our bodies and our planet first.

Conventional vs. Organic: Why it Matters

Conventional Products

Most conventional period products have a plastic veil (tampons) or synthetic topsheet (pads). This creates an environment where candida (the bacteria that causes yeast infections) can thrive, and is increasingly linked to long-term health issues like endocrine hormone disruption.

LUÜNA Products

Hypoallergenic and breathable, our use of organic cotton is recommended by gynaecologists to help to prevent thrush & bacterial vaginosis. Organic cotton has helped solve negative symptoms for our founder, Olivia (read Why LUÜNA), and countless other LUÜNA community members.

Our Eco-Ethos

‘Sustainable’ is a term that's misused a lot in the industry. Learn what this means to us.

To us, ‘sustainability’ means continued improvements, transparency, and long-term positive outcomes. Check out some of the changes we've made to bring you the most sustainable product options.
