Tsuno sustainable bamboo fibre sanitary pads are made from natural bamboo and corn fibre top sheet, which is super absorbent, breathable, soft and comfortable, antibacterial. There has been no chlorine or dioxin bleach used in the manufacturing process. The sanitary pads are individually wrapped in biodegradable sleeves, and finally packaged in recyclable cardboard boxes.

Tsuno was founded in 2014 by Roz Campbell, an Australian industrial designer who set out to fix two things at once: the harsh chemicals and plastic packed into conventional period products, and the period poverty facing girls in the developing world. Tsuno gives 50% of its profits to One Girl, funding education scholarships and menstrual health literacy programs for girls in Sierra Leone and Uganda, having donated over $123,000 to date.
