30,000 Pads. 1,000 Periods Covered. Many Communities Supported. Here’s What’s Next.

Last November, we launched the #BreakTheStigma Campaign with a bold and necessary mission: to deliver 30,000 additional organic cotton pads to our community in Hong Kong, while raising awareness around period poverty and menstrual stigma.

Today, we are proud to share–we achieved that goal.

Why We Launched #BreakTheStigma

We believe that access to safe, sustainable period care is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Yet in Hong Kong, period poverty continues to affect vulnerable communities, forcing individuals to choose between basic needs and menstrual products.

Through the #BreakTheStigma campaign, we aimed to:

  • Provide 30,000 organic cotton LUÜNA pads

  • Educate and break harmful stigmas surrounding menstruation

  • Engage businesses and the wider community in driving real social change

To help fund this, we introduced our Limited Edition #BreakTheStigma cap, where every cap sold sponsored 150 organic cotton pads – enough to provide approximately five months of period care.

The Impact We Created Together

With this, we are honored to be a part of a community that helped us attain this achievement. Through our cap sales, generous sponsorships, and events like our ChangeMaker Supper Club, Flow Forward Events, and Festive Period Party, we collectively delivered:

✔️ 30,000 organic cotton LUÜNA pads
✔️ Covered 1,000 periods
✔️ Saved approximately US$6,200 in total household income (based on the cost of mainstream, non-organic pads)
